Description
My theme depicts a portrayal of the human figure in such a way that it demonstrates how society misinterprets it. I wanted to create my final piece's lines in a way that contradicts its traditional form while yet allowing the audience to perceive a more cubic-like form of it. When I think of unorthodox shapes, I think of unique lines in motion, particularly for my piece. The name wire woman came from the lady being held up in an upright position as if a wire, symbolizing society, is compelling her to comply and sit up this manner.
