Description
"Recto Verso" delves into the psychological tension between perception and disorientation. This dual-sided piece captures the moment of grasping and losing one's sense of reality. On one side, a fragmented hand aggressively clasps a screaming head—an embodiment of being overtaken by internal chaos. Flip the perspective, and the same head appears to be suspended or supported by the hand, suggesting control, perhaps even surrender. The visual structure mimics a mirror or a threshold, challenging the viewer to consider how perspective shapes truth. Through this interplay of dominance and submission, "Recto Verso" reflects on the instability of reality and the fragility of the human mind when caught between clarity and collapse.
