Description
This piece serves as a sequel to Recto Verso, distilling the chaotic duality of that work into a singular, raw moment. Here, the hand stands alone—no longer grasping or holding, just suspended in space—its angular, fragmented form pulsing with embedded eyes and patterns. The red backdrop intensifies this isolation, symbolizing rage, urgency, and psychological pressure. Stripped of the head it once clutched, the hand becomes a symbol of lingering trauma or control, suspended in a void of emotional volatility. The white smears bordering the red offer fleeting moments of breath—yet they’re confined, as if the violence of the red threatens to spill out. This painting doesn’t offer two perspectives like its predecessor—it demands confrontation with just one: the lasting imprint of impact.
