Description
Ancestral Shapes is an homage to my grandfather, expressed through a symphony of geometric shapes that convey my deep affection and respect for him. I chose a greyish-blue palette to evoke a sense of calm and wisdom, colors that mirror his serene yet profound presence. The collage in the background, with its raw textures, provides glimpses of his multifaceted personality—rugged, honest, and enduring. Each shape represents a different aspect of his life and character: the sturdy squares symbolize his unwavering stability, the fluid circles reflect his nurturing nature, and the intersecting triangles denote the challenges he overcame with grace. This abstract portrayal allows the audience to feel the complexity of his essence, blending memories and emotions into a cohesive tribute that transcends traditional representation.
